About Chalky Panthe
Libby Hamilton, trading as Chalky Panthe, is a London-based artist with a background in fine art and eight years of corporate marketing and graphic design experience in the life sciences sector. She now specialises in hand-painted chalkboard signs, window murals, and wall murals - working with hospitality and events businesses, as well as private clients, across London, Essex, and Hertfordshire.
Past clients include: Never Fully Dressed, Hodder & Stoughton, Quercus, Diageo, Young's Pub and Stonegate Group.
This is my story (so far)...
I began chalkboard sign writing while working in pubs as an art student in Coventry. After graduation, I built a long-standing career in corporate marketing and graphic design within the life sciences sector, but an unexpected redundancy pushed me into a space that provided me with enough temporary financial security to reconsider my career path. It took little-to-no time to find myself becoming really excited about the possibility of reconnecting with my passion for painting and all things hand-made - although I do sometimes miss having at least some clothes that aren't covered in paint!
